The Deer Woman

The deer lady (or old woman or half-deer, half-woman, depends on what mood she's in) can be found in many different cultures.  I read about this particular one from a Native American myth about a spirit who can take the form of a beautiful woman, an old lady or a strange looking deer. But like all mythical beasts watch out!  If you get too close she'll kick you to death.

The Sphinx

As a more well known creature, we are privileged to see a less common view of the Sphinx. Engaged in some good, clean, National Geographic style feeding frenzy!
This weeks (slightly late posting) presented by Jamie.
